The stripes are machine quilted in a wave pattern and the star is machine quilted "in the ditch". The batting is polyester fleece and the backing is muslin. The completed project is then "tea dyed" by dipping in hot tea water to give the quilt an antique look. There is a sleeve on the top edge of the back for a dowel to be inserted for hanging.
